Campus2Communities is a group of young people trying the best they can to make a positive impact in our society. it is made up of a couple of my classmates and other members of my faculty.
We had been working with the Ilaje community for a while. Some people had been going to teach the children and help out in whatever way they can and when childrens day was near we decided to throw them a little party.
People were generous with their donations and we were able to raise enough money to throw them an awesome party, they had lots to eat, got to paint their faces, had various cultural displays and got to dance and generally have a good time.
We had the most amazing time dancing with the kids and it made us so happy to be able to make such an impact on their lives and i hope the government and other bodies take note and try to help them.
i also hope that this little act will enable the other families in the community encourage their children to go to school because as we all know education is key.
I only visited the community twice but what i saw made me really count my blessings.
We go through life everyday complaining about what we dont have and what we want more of without bearing in mind that there are people who dont even have a quarter of these things.
There was a boy there who said that if he didnt hawk everyday he couldnt eat, a little girl that had to take care of her many siblings and other kids that dont live in real houses, just shacks and when it rains its really terrible.
But in spite of everything, they seemed to be happy and content you know, we didnt give out any extraordinarily expensive gifts but the fact that some of us went there regularly and taught them dances and even put on a play left them overjoyed.
i believe we should all try to give back once in a while. it doesnt have to be elaborate. some old clothes here and some toys or books there really go a long way.

1. im a photographer but id rather be in front of the camera than behind it. i know. im vain.
2. i only shave when i have to wear something sleeveless
3. i always appear super busy but im actually not
4. i cry when i watch movies by myself. even when its an animation. once a character dies or somebody has to leave, im in tears.
5. i dance to no music when im happy
6. I talk to dogs the same way i talk to babies
7. I still dont know what i want to spend the rest of my life doing.

    I wanted a name that symbolizes what im about. Legal/Law Fashion seemed abit drab so i made it french. Hence Mode Juridique.

     I am wearing brown rubber slippers.

Im 'Red'-y to 'Mint' you

Hi Guys!
sorry i havent posted in a while
i have been having some internet trouble but now i am back and better.
this is what i wore to a wedding 2 weeks ago
i didnt try on the dress before the day, i just assumed it would fit because its a size 10
but the dress was actually made for people with smaller busts and so my girls were all over the place. but that didnt stop me however, i just had my blazer buttoned for the rest of the day.
so the moral of my story is that you should invest in blazers with buttons.
and who knew red and mint looked so good together?
also as you can see i wore oxblood shoes instead of black. i just felt my red was sharp enough and i didnt need more sharpness with the black.
my beautiful clutch is from Things Nigerians Love, its an online store with the most beautiful accessories and when i saw this clutch for just 5k i had to have it and it was delivered the next day. awesome. no? you can check out their site here

my friend kelly is an awesome photographer and he was shooting some avon designs.
i love photos in the wierdest places and when he said we would be shooting on some kinda boat i was like hell yeah!
it had rained that morning and so it was freezing plus the fact that i had to go barefoot left me with with the deadliest cold, i had it for about 2 weeks and of course i made sure all of my friends got it *evil laugh*
but when i finally saw the pictures i loved them and so i didnt care about the cold anymore.
so what do you guys think? did i do a good job modelling?
